Team

  • Erin developed the custom social media analysis division of the world's largest public relations research firm, working directly with Johnson & Johnson, Proctor & Gamble, Boeing, Logitech and more. She comes to Smart Beat from computer vision startup Deepcam where she was Vice President of Marketing.

  • Nate started work on Smart Beat after his own son was born four weeks premature. Holding a BS and MS in Electrical Engineering from Utah State University, his research during that time has served as the basis for much of Smart Beat's intellectual property.

  • Chris started in e-commerce in 2009 and has worked with more than 200 companies on more than 50,000 digital campaigns. He established the consumer infant monitoring market by bringing Owlet from $0 to $20 million in revenue in just 12 months.

  • Chief Scientist

    Jake worked in automation, digital wireless communication and signal processing at Merasoft, Lockheed-Martin and IBM before accepting a position as professor and chair of the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at Utah State University.

  • Clinical Director

    Andrew received his medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine. Before beginning his fellowship at Stanford, Andrew served as an associate for VC firm Jump Capital. He is now the Head of Innovation at Northwestern University's Lake Forest Hospital.
