    I've been running MYN since the beginning in September 2011. I started the project to share my voice and my favorite music and it blew up and became what it is today (with the support of my team). I am taking my experience working in sales and marketing, along with my degree from Cal Poly SLO into this MYN project to bring it to the next level of being a profitable business. I hope to grow Music You Need into a internationally known brand.

    Lyja started helping in February of 2012, using the site redesign as her senior project at Cal Poly. She now acts as my COO, overseeing all new intern signings, as well as general business management. She helps me evaluate projects for marketability as well as profitability, while ensuring we manage our resources as best as possible. She's extraordinarily useful to me and the business.

    Chief of Media Relations

    Taylor started with MYN in 2012 and she proved herself as someone who wanted to be involved on an executive level, and was quickly promoted to Chief of Media Relations. She now handles most of my press contacts, for shows that MYN sponsors, photographs, or reviews, as well as lining artist interviews for the site, and solidifying relationships with booking agencies and other industry partners. She is a very valuable part of the MYN team.

    Bret has an amazing and progressive taste in music, so his voice was quickly heard and respected on the site. Beginning as a writer, Bret quickly showed he could be involved in all business matters, and he started promoting events, taking photos, interviewing artists, and being the creative mind behind our merchandise line. He is now my Director of Sales, and is expanding his bandwidth to include event planning for our LA monthly event.

    The first guest writer I had on my website, Shane helped me build MYN into what it is today. A master recruiter, a dedicated worker, and talented writer, Shane is also my Chief Editor and the creative mind behind our site layout and functionality. Although Shane hasn't much experience with running a business, he is reliable and has been a friend of mine since 2011. He's been helping me with MYN since January of 2012.
