MD,LLC was founded to commercialize the MouthLab. MouthLab is a self-contained hand-held medical diagnostic device that eventually will help those with no medical training make more intelligent healthcare decisions. Today MouthLab rapidly measures all vital signs. In the future it will obtain more biomedical measurements (e.g. noninvasive blood sugar level, saliva and respiratory biochemistry). MouthLab will be a "check engine light" for humans.

    Gene Fridman, PhD is the inventor of the MouthLab. He is an NIH funded, Assistant Professor of Otolaryngology and Biomedical Engineering at Johns Hopkins University. He has over 20 years of experience leading projects in the medical industry and in academia and he has been a paid technical consultant on a wide range of commercial engineering projects.
