India has aimed at attaining a Solar based energy Capacity to reach up to 100 GW by 2022 out which it has successfully attained 8 GW till date (31-07-16) and at the present it finds it difficult in meeting its target as roof top based segment has not been able to meet its target of 40GW. Thus we see opportunity in filling this gap by coming up with different varieties of Floating Solar power plants which can cater to different water bodies.
