Company Summary

By intergating micro-structures onto 3D metallic objects, we enable the fabrication of holographic-like effects in an additive-free way on any plastic precision-moulded part or on any other derivative article, e.g. on edible articles produced by moulding. We first target the food market , enabling innovative additive-free holographic-like chocolate produced by large manufacturers. Next, we are applying our technology to plastic packaging.

    Dr. Veronica Savu graduated from Caltech in 2000 and earned her Phd in Physics from Yale University (U.S.). In 2007 she moved to Switzerland to pursue postdoctoral research in nanotechnology at EPFL, where she initiated and managed local and international projects. During her academic career she received 7 fellowships and awards, culminating with a 5 year individual grant from SNF.

    CTO

    Dr. Vaida Auzelyte graduated from Vilnius University (Lithuania) in 2001 and received PhD from Lund University in Sweden. In 2006 she joined Paul Scherrer Institut and gained extensive experience as scientist in the field of micro and nanotechnology, surface and material processing. Since 2009 she worked at EPFL in a highly motivated international team, where she designed, implemented and managed scientific projects.
