Company Summary

MonkeyFind provides high street businesses with white-labelled (geo-local) mobile applications. Clients are presented with a ready-made iOS application that enables instant broadcasting of short-term offers, discounts and events to local shoppers, thus driving sales in real time. The Company launched a branded platform to the Reading (UK) market in December 2012, achieving 4,213 downloads and discounts from 47 local businesses as of July 2013.

    CEO

    Sebastian is a corporate solicitor qualified out of Allen & Overy LLP. He graduated with a Law degree from the University of Kent in 2006, and briefly pursued a career in professional golf after being awarded English Golf Union scholarships in 2004 and 2005. Sebastian went on to paralegal at Slaughter and May before he began at Allen & Overy, where he devised the MonkeyFind concept while on secondment in Romania with the firm's M&A department.

    Product Manager

    James graduated with a degree in Physics from the University of Nottingham in 2008. Later that year he began working at the Harper Partnership, his family's graphic design and advertising agency. Since 2010 James has been the lead design technician at the Harper Partnership and became involved with MonkeyFind's product development in April 2012. James is an accomplished amateur golfer and currently plays off a handicap of 1.

    Marketing

    Sam graduated with a degree in Business from the University of Surrey in 2009. He has always been entrepreneurial – at age 14, Sam opened his own shop selling wholesale goods to other school friends, proceeding to then mimic the same process for an online company. Sam was involved with GCS’s strategic business development in the recruitment industry, from where he joined MonkeyFind in September 2012. Also a keen golfer, Sam plays off a 4 handicap

  • Lee Richards
    Sales and Client Relations

    Lee left formal education at 18 to start his own business as a fitness instructor. After receiving his qualifications at Castle Royle Golf and Country Club, Lee cultivated a long client roster and was offered the role of Gym and Wellness Manager in 2010. In late 2011, Lee was introduced to the MonkeyFind concept by Sebastian, from which time they collaborated jointly on the concept's progression. Lee joined MonkeyFind full time in September 2012.

  • Mark Henderson
    Sales

    Mark studied drama at university and became a stage actor on graduation – he appeared in a number of shows in London’s West End, as well as appearing on television shows, commercials, music videos and performing stand up comedy between 2004 and 2011. Mark was approached by Sebastian to become the sales manager at MonkeyFind, where he has now been working full time since May 2012.
