Modular Genetics, Inc. ( Modular) is a synthetic biology company that generates engineered microorganisms that produce chemical products. Modular's R&D is in Massachusetts, and the company will begin to manufacture its chemical products in 2018. We are negotiating with VCs regarding a $5 million investment aimed at establishing profitable manufacturing. We would like to raise up to $1 million (of the $5 million) from Gust investors.
