Company Summary

Most mobile App development at present is bespoke and custom (MobaNode’s existing business is all custom app development) - we want to change all that. MobaNode is looking to create an App Framework Platform (AFP) that we are calling “ScrAPP” (short for “Scripting for Apps”) to help clients create great looking and functional Mobile apps easier, cheaper and faster and without having to know any code.

    Prior to MobaNode, Shane was the Executive VP at MagneticTime, a text to speech software company. Previously, he spent 5 years as Director of Business Development for PrimeLearning.com, an eLearning firm. Before this, Shane was head of design at Eurologic Systems. He started his career as a product designer at Allies Design. Shane holds a Bachelor of Engineering from UCD, and a Master of Arts in Industrial Design from the University of Teesside

    Maurice is a Senior Business Management Consultant & Interim Manager with a strong track record across multinational and Irish technology companies operating at an international level. More than 22 years’ experience in the technology industry filling senior leadership roles for the past 15 years including CTO, Operations Director/Manager, Engineering Manager, Project Manager.

    CTO

    David began working part-time as a programmer for a multinational from age 15, until he graduated college with a first class honors degree in Software Development from LIT. While studying at LIT, David placed first in programming competitions and was awarded the highest final year project score in the department to date. Before the widespread popularity of apps, David worked on SMS solutions for companies with remote workers.

  • Alan Taylor
    Senior Programmer

    Alan graduated Limerick Institute of Technology in 2007. He achieved a first class B.Sc. in Software development and was awarded the prize for dissertation of the year for his portable video game. Following this Alan attended Trinity College Dublin to pursue his Masters in Interactive Entertainment Technology. He graduated his M.Sc. in the autumn of 2008
