The USDA developed an organic seal to combat "greenwashing," and applaud those using organic growing and production methods. Now, there is a growing "home-made, hand-made, home-grown" movement among American consumers. M.I.T.U.S was developed to support the efforts of American producers- from single artisans, to teams of crafters, to whole factories- in the same way. By offering a tool to applaud and define the meaning of "Made in America."
