Avi RoopCo-Founder and CEO
Avi Roop brings 16 years of medical device experience to the firm. He has been involved in two prior start-ups: Vascular Science (sold to STJ in '99) and Tarsus Medical (sold to IART in '13). In addition, Avi spent two years at Boston Scientific - Scimed ('96-'97) and nine years at St. Jude Medical ('99-'08). He holds a BSME from Minnesota-IT, an MBA from Berkeley-Haas and was a Stanford Biodesign Fellow. Avi holds 14 issued US patents.

Chris Pell is head of research and development. He is a Stanford graduate in Mechanical Engineering with a concentration in Design Methodology. He has work experiences from marine research instrumentation to unmanned aerial vehicles.
