Gerald is the 4th generation owner of this family farm. His apple orchard has been in production since 1946. Due to changes in food production he is faced with converting his orchard to the modern "High Density" method or possibly lose the family farm. This method produces in excess of 1000 bushels per acre compared to about 200 bushels per acre under the old method. He needs substantial capital to convert the orchard. Will be profitable in 4 yrs
