Company Summary
MicroZap licensed technology from Texas Tech to kill food borne pathogens. We have expanded the technology to kill the deadly superbug MRSA in homes and healthcare facilities. MRSA kills 20-40,000 people annually. Food borne illness affects 76Million people a year and costs $35Billion. MicroZap has two customer focuses: food production & homes/healthcare for MRSA elimination. We are currently in trials with a NYSE company for mold reduction.

He is a Professional Engineer with an Engineering degree and MBA from Texas Tech. He has two patents pending.

David is a founder and investor in multiple startup. He was cofounder, CEO and Chairman of Alamosa PCS (NASDAQ IPO & acquired by Sprint). He is a Distinguished Electrical Engineering alumnus of Texas Tech. He is a Director of American Tower (NYSE:AMT), Zona Communications, Food Concepts International (Abuelos), Smartfield and is Chairman of the Board of MicroZap. David is an inventor of the new patent-pending MicroZap technology.

Mindy Brashears, Ph.D.acting Chief Scientist
Mindy is a Professor in Animal and Food Sciences at Texas Tech. She has done research on the technology since inception. She is director of the International Center for Food Industry Excellence, providing access to customers and acquirers including Cargill, Jennie-O Turkey Store & Tejas Industries. She holds a BS in Food Technology (Magna Cum Laude) from Texas Tech and MS & Ph.D. in Food Science, Food Microbiology from Oklahoma State University

Andreas Neuber, PE, Ph.D.acting CTO
Andreas is a Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Texas Tech. He received his Dr. Ing., Mechanical Engineering (Ph.D.) and Dipl. Phys. (MS in Physics) from the Technical University of Darmstadt, Germany. He is the 2010 recipient of the IEEE distinguished William Dunbar Award for contributions to high voltage research, technology and engineering education. He is one of the MicroZap inventors. He was recently named a Fellow of IEEE.
