He has led five billion-dollar franchises and is a successful entrepreneur in the Healthcare, Banking, and Electronic Health Records industries.

Dr. Prausnitz has 20+ years of microneedle research and development experience. He is Regent’s Professor of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at Georgia Tech and is the worldwide academic leader in microneedle research. Dr. Prausnitz is also the co-founder of Clearside Biomedical, a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical developing therapies to treat chronic, blinding disease of the eye.

Dr. McAllister has 18 years of experience developing medical devices and dosage forms including microneedle patch technologies. He is the former technical head of Valeritas’ microneedle patch development program. Dr. McAllister is also a co-inventor of V-Go, the first insulin pump marketed to the large Type 2 diabetes market.

Mr. Henry has 15 years of product development and project management experience in the microneedle and medical device fields. He held overall product development responsibilities at Porex Surgical, now owned by Stryker, and has 10+ years of experience working on the microneedle patch technology at Georgia Tech.
