MicroGen provides micro-power generators that create power from ambient vibrations. These devices, which today trickle charge solid state batteries, will replace batteries in many applications as power requirements in wireless systems become less and less. MicroGen products power wireless sensor products that can be found in water and gas metering systems, appliances, HVAC systems, defense and security systems, and hand held devices.

Dr. Andosca is one of the inventors of the original patent. Robert has 20+ years experience in fields directly related to MicroGen’s planned MEMS products. He has held positions in operations and engineering management, and in senior-level semiconductor and MEMS scientist and engineering positions. The companies include start-ups to large corporations. He holds a Ph. D. in Materials Science (interdisciplinary: EE, ME and Physics) from UVM

Kathleen VaethVP Engineering
Dr. Vaeth has 10+ yeras in building and leading multi-disciplinary teams, most recently with Eastman Kodak, nd has transferred multiple processes to prodcution MEMS facitlities.. She has developed technologies in MEMS microfluidics, organic electronics/displays, and piezoelectric materials and actuators. Dr. Vaeth earned her M.S. and Ph.D. in Chem E from MIT and a B.S. in Chem E from Cornell University. She has 15 issued U.S. patents.

Michael PerrottaCFO/COO
Mike has been a serial entrepreneur for the last 15+ years, andhas held positions of Founder, CEO, CFO, and COO and has participated in an IPO. Prior to this, Mike held general management positions with two multinational firms domestically and internationally. Mike holds degrees in history, engineering and an MBA from the Simon School.
