MicroEra Power is developing a tunable Thermal Long-Duration Energy Storage (LDES) systems to decarbonize heating and cooling for commercial buildings and campus/district systems. Our TES is lower cost, more efficient, durable, and safer than current LDES options. We STORE off-peak electricity as heat or cooling energy for predicted future loads, SHIFT that energy to peak times, and SAVE by avoiding peak electric costs.

Also secured donation of a state-of-the-art development facility, built and formerly used by GM and Delphi (~ $10 million replacement cost); held by AHEAD Energy, 501c3.

  • Development and calibration of high volume automotive powertrains for General Motors. Prolific inventor with > 40 granted patents. On Delphi’s Solid Oxide Fuel Cell development team in Rochester. Former Chief Scientist. James’ vision for porting leading automotive and fuel cell technologies has been the genesis of MicroEra Power. NH3 Fuel Association, Board Member and Conference Presenter.

    Former Top salesman at Carrier Corporation, with 30 years of experience selling commercial and industrial equipment. Kim maintains excellent relationships and rapport with past clients and professional network. Volunteer Mentor with Cleantech Open, a nationwide accelerator.

    A former institutional sales executive with Prudential Securities in NYC. Pochtar is focused on fundraising and demonstration projects with commercial real estate owners.
