For too many women, x-ray mammography is a poor tool to effectively guide breast cancer diagnosis. Positron Emission Mammography (PEM) has much higher sensitivity than x-ray mammography, especially for dense breasts, for a fraction of the cost of MRI. The Radialis sensors dramatically decrease the dose of radiotracer used for molecular imaging, allowing more women to benefit from improved breast cancer detection.
