micebook Limited (the “Company”) is a start-up business created by founder Chetan Shah and industry veteran Richard Waddington

In 2013, Chetan Shah, with nearly 20 years experience in the MICE industry, had a eureka moment to solve the frustrations faced by the MICE (MEETINGS INCENTIVES CONFERENCES & EVENTS) community – micebook is an online directory and information hub that allows MICE buyers to speedily search for supplier contacts and other information within the global MICE industry.

Whilst a number of predominantly hotel search-platforms currently exist, we believe the new integrated technology that allows the user a two-way interaction with the website, as well as industry-specific additional benefits, is ‘game changing’. This is a Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) system as a CRM system is used for managing clients.

We have over 4000 suppliers now registered and some of UK's top agencies have adopted the platform as their supplier relationship tool.

    CEO & Founder

    Chetan Shah has 18 years of experience in the MICE sector, having worked in some of the UK’s top agencies (eg Grass Roots - 6 years). His career includes working for the Sydney Opera House, the Mayor of London’s office and Reward & Recognition Online Platform solutions. Chetan has led client accounts across Automotive, Financial and Retail sectors in their event and communication strategies.

    Chairman

    Richard Waddington has over 35 years’ experience in high end events and the hospitality industry. He is the founder and CEO of First Protocol, an internationally recognised Event Marketing Agency, founded in 1996.
    In addition to his role with MICEBOOK, Richard is Chairman on EMA (Event Marketing Association) the leading industry association specifically for in-house corporate event planners.
