    Dr. Franklin Chang Díaz, is a former NASA astronaut and current CEO and President of the Ad Astra Rocket Company (with locations in Costa Rica and Houston, Texas). He invented the Variable Specific Impulse Magnetoplasma Rocket and other advanced propulsion technologies. Dr. Chang raised money on MAPA for his company before successfully taking Ad Astra public on the Costa Rica public stock market.
