Company Summary

Our automatic optimization programming media escalate science modeling and computerization in R&D. The higher math is automated under the hood, removing the labor of math programming. These media can renew the original growth of the computer industry, enabling DIY prototyping by STEM problem originators, far quicker than engaging programmers, while meeting the narrow-opportunity window (NOW) deadlines which limit R&D market demand.

Team

  • Joseph M. Thames
    President/CEO/CTO

MSME, Rice University, Apollo rocket engineer at NASA and TRW who created the pioneering project from which the technology emerged, and programmed the original language. Subsequently managed its evolution over seven generations in industry and 6 startups, including marketing time-sharing versions, and development of special computer architecture for calculus execution. Invented new web media and distribution tools for cloud sales

  • Daniel J. Mickish
    Vice President

PhD Physics, Oklahoma State, Former DuPont research scientist. Expert in solid imaging materials and holographic technologies, and management of spinout businesses involving these technologies. Long time user of PROSE and FortranCalculus at DuPont. Dan will lead our publishing campaign which will re-engineering problem examples in diversified engineering textbooks and convert them to tablet ebooks as a publisher service (our dual PR-QA plan).

  • Dillon F. Scofield
    Chief Scientist, Advanced Modeling

D.Sc Engineering Physics, George Washington Univ. Adjunct Prof. Physics, Oklahoma State. Former DuPont research scientist. Expert in quantum dynamical manifolds and applications of nonlinear dynamics techniques. Long time user of PROSE at DuPont. Dillon will collaborate with Jim McDonough to develop and teach advanced MetaCalculus methods of optimizing partial differential equations models, as part of our publishing PR-QA campaign.

  • James M. McDonough
    Chief Scientist, Advanced Mathematics

PhD, Engineering, UCLA. Professor, Mechanical Engineering & Mathematics, University of Kentucky. Extensive experience in advanced development in PROSE. Developed the Economic Planning via Optimal Control (EPOC) package in PROSE, and applied it to timberland investment management, Also developed advanced optimization algorithms in PROSE. Jim will be our primary webinar lecturer introducing MetaCalculus and our STEM publishing PR to universities,

  • Mack W. Alford
    Chief Scientist

MA Mathematics, UCLA and TRW Fellow at UCLA in Computer Science. Co-Inventor of MetaCalculus with Joseph Thames at TRW and NASA. Developed major software algorithms used in Apollo propulsion flight analysis. Long career in requirements driven design. Developed standard system design tools used by Hughes, Bellcore, United Defense, Loral, US Army, NASA, Sprint and others. Mack will work on advance solution methods and support the PR-QA. campaign.

  • Frank Germano
    Manager, Software Quality

PhD Computer Science, Penn State, MBA Stanford. Former VP Engineering, Vermeer Technologies, Developer of FrontPage web software. Also, Director of Development, Lotus Development, Engineering Manager, Apollo Computer, and Digital Equipment Corp. Frank participated for one year learning the internal working of MetaCalculus, and will lead the software testing and QA efforts of product launch and support the PR-QA textbook re-publishing campaign.

  • Steve M. Thames
    Sr. Software Engineer

Exceptionally skilled software developer in web technologies, with a long contract programming career, including over ten years as a contractor or HP/Agilent. Worked on several pioneering software projects with Joseph Thames, including "Spiritext", the key publishing medium Steve will direct in this project. This product will become the basis for resurrecting the software maintenance startup in which we developed this advance web technology.

  • Don Thornton
    Sr. Systems Engineer

    BSBA, Colorado Technical University.
Exceptionally capable systems engineer, developer and administrator, with a broad background in all of the programming languages and operating systems we are using. Don will be the lead development engineer in one of our primary cloud development lines, first creating a publishing automation product (BookFlow) to support our team PR-QA re-engineering of textbooks into MetaCalculus ebooks to promote our sales.

  • Phil Brubaker
    Sr. Application Engineer

Phil is the most dedicated of several MetaCalculus evangelists, and is the longest running continuous user of the technology in three of its generations. He and another evangelist, Frank Pfeiffer worked together at more than one company, and were instrumental of those companies being purchasers of PROSE site licenses. Phil has uncovered the immense potential of deep optimization nesting (DON), which he has pursued with FortranCalculus.
