Merlin is a quantitative research tool for equity investors. It analyses market and macroeconomic conditions. Merlin combines economic models and machine learning algorithms. It is very easy to use: on the first day of the month, it estimates the probability that the performance of the S&P 500 Index will be positive for the month that begins. Merlin's development started in 2007 and we used it live for managing investment portfolios.
