    As founder and CEO of Magpie Media, I am proud to be a recognized leader in the field of schizophrenia, and SZ Magazine reflects my ongoing mission to help those like me deal with this challenging condition.
     
    After being diagnosed with schizophrenia when I was 24 and spending five years struggling to
    recover from my illness, I know through personal experience the difficulty that mental illness causes both patients and their caregivers.
