Greg established FECPAK in 1993. FECPAK is now used by farmers, researchers and governmental agencies around the world. In 2005 Greg was awarded the Sir Arthur Ward Award, for efforts in the communication and application of principles of animal production. In 2006 PGG Wrightson purchased FECPAK. From 2006-09 Greg was a participant in the EU funded Parasol Project. In 2010 Greg purchased FECPAK from PGG Wrightson and formed Techion Group Ltd

Stephen has a BSc in biochemistry from the University of Otago. He completed his PhD in 1995. He was awarded an Alexander von Humboldt fellowship for nanotechnology research in Munich. In 2004, he co-founded the nanotechnology startup company Australo (now IZON Science). In 2009 he was appointed to the role of Director the Applied Science Programme at the University of Otago.
