They are primarily transport devices, but income to Mellowcabs is derived from selling advertising space on the pedicabs. Rides are free. He holds a BA in Environmental Management and has worked for Aquasol and Sasol. Recently, he built, owned and operated a successful South African fertiliser business; built and operating Riksha a bicycle trailer/stroller manufacturer that is currently sold internationally.

Kobus Breytenbach
Kobus Breytenbach is a Chartered Accountant with vast business development and corporate experience. He also holds an MSc in Chemical Engineering. Formely, he was with Impala Platinum, Standard Bank, HSBC plc (head of metals and mining, Sub-Saharan Africa) and Optimum Coal. Most recently, he was part of a key team that built and developed R9 billion Optimum Coal and listed the company on JSE mani board.
