Santiago is currently Co-Founder & CEO of Melba. He began his career in Investment Banking and later worked at BlackRock where he was appointed to manager after 2 years and had direct supervision over a team of 20 analysts. Santiago founded a mobile gaming startup in 2010 while working full time at BlackRock and a year later, decided to change tracks to pursue a venture in #foodtech. Santiago graduated magna cum laude from UPenn in 2006.

Ancor is a web developer with 5 years of professional experience building high quality web products. Prior to joining Melba as technical lead, Ancor was a freelance Ruby on Rails developer at Aentos, a well-reputed development agency in Spain, where he led development teams in a number of consumer web App projects. He is a full-stack web developer with a broad skill-set developing in RoR, PHP, and various database solutions.

Elco is a wizard at generating buzz and an innovative marketer having launched large-scale events as a college student in the Netherlands and Brazil. Before joining Melba he worked for Rocket Internet’s e-commerce company, HelloFresh, which delivers fresh food and recipes to consumers. He also lived one year in Brazil, where he founded Leadership Summit Brazil, a global e-conference in São Paulo featuring top executives and government officials.

Duncan is an entrepreneur with a strong background in community management. Before joining Melba, Duncan was Vice-President of Wimdu UK, a Rocket Internet venture that allows people to rent out their spare rooms and apartments to travelers. While at Wimdu, Duncan co-founded the UK office and helped build the user-base from 50 to over 2000 hosts in a year. Before Wimdu, Duncan was a literature graduate at Oxford University.
