Mike has been a principal and founder in over a dozen companies in several industries: software, mining, manufacturing, wireless tech and medtech. Mike has worked on technology development projects for NASA.
Mike retired from the U.S. Navy with 30 years of experience in areas such as electronic warfare, navigation, logistics, intelligence, remote sensing, diplomatic relations, security and counter insurgency and other classified projects.

Bruce is an expert in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. He has built multiple intelligent integration systems. He has published research in the area of AI and has filed several patents relating to AI. His research focus is on intelligent agents including automated code generation, visual, machine learning and conversational systems. He has an MSc in Computing Science from the U of Alberta and is completing a PhD in AI.

Dr. Kapov was a Senior Medical Director with Optum Care and was responsible for the creation of a program that studied the implementation of Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM). Dr Kapov was a co-investigator in multiple studies at Southwest Medical that brought about improvement in the treatment care path for the patient with Type 2 Diabetes. Dr. Kapov was a physician in the US Navy for over 20 years.

Dr. Jones is a biochemist with extensive diabetes research experience. He has served as a Director of Research at UnitedHealth Group (Optum Labs). Dr. Jones has co-authored 16 medical research papers including the 2019 article: “Empowering patients and providers with more and better data: Innovative concepts in type 2 diabetes management.” Dr. Jones earned a PhD in Biochemistry from East Carolina University, School of Medicine.

Dr. Cunniffe-Conlon is registered with medical regulatory bodies both in the U.K. and Ireland. She has a keen interest in AI-driven data discovery and analytics, having studied AI with Sloane School of Management, MIT. She holds a range of academic and industry qualifications including a Bachelor of Medicine from the National University of Ireland, Galway, an MSc and MBA from University College and Trinity College Dublin respectively.

Mark has over 25 years experience in both public and private companies. His business development company helped raise over $150 million for small cap public companies. He served as CFO of an AMEX company, director of ops for a manufacturing company, and sales and marketing analyst for a consumer products company. He earned his master’s degree from UCSB. He is currently an instructor in the Knauss School of Business at the University of San Diego.
