Medical Cyberworlds, Inc. is a Madison, Wisconsin-based C corp, founded in 2006. It uses its patented, cloud-delivered technology platform to train medical professionals to communicate effectively, saving money and lives by reducing medical errors. MCI uses a seat-license model as the basis for revenue.

MCI's first product, MPathicVR, uses an advanced, bi-directional interface to enable learners to have realistic conversations with virtual human (VH) characters who express themselves in highly believable ways. The interface allows the VH to respond to learners in real-time, delivering results that are measurably better than the current industry standard.

The product has been successfully beta tested at three major medical schools, all of which have expressed interest in licensing the product for use in the 2016 curriculum. Medical education is a market that is over $3B in size.

MCI has raised $3M in non-dilutive grant funding (SBIR/NIH) and is seeking $2M to bring the product to market.
