Mal Curtis is a Web Developer with experience working on large scale, highly available Web Applications. He has worked for SitePoint; a resource site for web developers consistently rated in the top 1,000 sites in the world, Learnable; an education platform for web developers, and Natcoll Design Technology; where he taught the diploma of Web Development. He also runs the Auckland Web Dev Nights meet up group.

With 35 years of experience in communications and design, Ross moves effortlessly between the creative and business worlds. His work has taken him as far afield as London and Dublin, where he’s worked with a who’s who of large clients, from banks to governmental departments to multinational corporations

Sam is the technical guru on the team and ties all the information and creativity into a back end that enhances the user experience.

Sam created Love-O-Matic. The mobile app now averages 800 downloads a day, and has surpassed 750,000 individual downloads.

App sales funded McEwan’s university education at The University of Auckland, where he received his BSc and BCom degrees in Computer Science and Information Systems respectively.

It’s one thing to have an idea and build an app; quite another to successfully take it to market. With 8 years of experience in user engagement and consumer behaviour research, Nick brings strategic insight into the world of app development.

His job is to take the idea and figure out how to fund it, resource it, develop on and get it out to the right audience. It’s all about building the strategy around the development

Brenden brings to SERVD a passion for business excellence, database marketing, and globalisation. As managing director of Actionmail, Brenden is in charge of a high energy, highly innovative company that specialises in big impact, creative direct marketing services. The 15-year-old company now also has offices in NSW Australia, meaning they can provide a competitive edge to local businesses with interests or aspirations across the Tasman.

Stephen’s passion lies in management accounting and providing his customer base with timely reporting for decision making and taxation purposes. He also has a few side projects on the go, which includes trying to tie in carbon reporting and accounting, and value pricing.

Stephen obtained a BBS in Accounting and a Graduate Diploma in Economics from Massey University. He also obtained his CA in 2007 and is a Director O’Halloran CA North Shore.

Guy originally trained in accountancy and has been involved in the hospitality industry for over 25 years. He has owned several well-regarded and successful Auckland hospitality businesses and currently owns the popular Epsom restaurant 'One Tree Grill'.

The particular strengths Guy brings to the team are a detailed understanding of hospitality operations, hospitality system design, restaurant concept design.
