Currently it is difficult for local farmers to get their meat into consumers hands. The first iteration is going to focus on beef. but will apply to all types.
Basically the idea is to crowd fund a cow. currently the only cheap way to buy beef from a local farmer is to try and get friends and family to split about 400lb of meat. The platform will split a cow with as many people needed. so you only buy as much as you want when you want.
