We make it easy for users to enter what they are looking for, whether it’s a recipe that has certain ingredients, or great gluten-free recipes. By allowing users to perform more personalized and socially powered searches, Meal Idea offers a convenient way for users to find exactly what they want.

WIlliam FalconChief Executive Officer
The driving force behind Meal idea, Will graduated FSU with a degree in criminology and is now studying computer science at Columbia. He also served in both the Navy and Air Force before joining Merrill Lynch, doing sales in Latin America. While at Merrill Lynch, Will came up with idea for Meal Idea and decided to leave and start the company. He is a self-taught coder and built the first iteration of the app, which got over 30,000 downloads.

Eran MizrahiChief Operating Officer
Eran is a second-year MBA student at Columbia, where he co-founded Wizoku, an online marketplace for tutors. Eran successfully launched a product, achieved initial traction of more than 400 tutors, and recruited and managed a 5 person team. Eran previously worked at Deloitte. He is a Chartered Accountant and has passed all three levels of CFA.

Michael Ben-AmiChief Technical Officer
Mike graduated from UVA in 2007 with a degree in Business and a concentration in IT. Following his passion for computers, he worked at Cisco for 5 years as a Systems Engineer designing networks for companies. He is now at Columbia getting his Masters in Computer Science. He met Will in a programming class and joined the team.

Sam graduated from Columbia College, where he studied Math and Economics. Afterwards, he taught Math and Programming in Teach for America. He is now back at Columbia getting his Masters in Machine Learning.

Joseph Vanderhoop LeeCommunity Manager
Joseph is a junior at Columbia majoring in English. He previously worked for Wizoku, as Community Manager. Joseph helped Wizoku develop into a global network of passionate students and tutors by helping the company streamline its mission and brand and spreading the word through Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and the Wizoku blog.
