  • Founder & CEO

    Chris is Founder and CEO of MBio Diagnostics, Inc. He is an entrepreneur and a physicist. Prior to MBio, Chris founded and led Precision Photonics Corporation, a successful laser technology company, now a division of IDEX. Chris earned bachelors degrees at SMU, and a PhD in Atomic Physics at the University of Colorado. Chris studied Bose-Einstein Condensation under Carl Wieman, and quantum information under David Wineland at NIST Boulder.

  • Michael Lochhead
    VP & CTO

    As Vice President since the Company’s inception, Dr. Lochhead leads research and development efforts at MBio. He is program manager on multiple major contracts with the NIH. Previously, Mike developed and commercialized microarray surface chemistry products at the Accelr8 Technology Corporation. He earned his PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. Mike holds B.S. and B.A. degrees from the University of Notre Dame.

    Sally Hatcher is Co-Founder of MBio Diagnostics, Inc. She also co-founded Precision Photonics Corporation with Dr. Myatt in 2000 and served as President until its sale in 2012. Ms. Hatcher brings extensive experience in the areas of business strategy, financing and corporate law. She serves on the Advisory Boards of CDR & Associates and the Zimbabwe Aids Treatment Assistance Project. She holds a B.A. from SMU and a J.D. from the U. of Colorado.
