MBF is a wireless Software as a Service (SaaS) company that provides scalable Wi-Fi and IoT connectivity solutions. MBF's solutions are currently in production, and deployed by telecom operator customers such as Claro (the largest wireless carrier in Latin America), Virgin Mobile and VTR (largest cable operator in Chile).

The company had over $500,000 USD in sales in 2018 and over 3 Million wireless connections. In 2019 MBF is already on pace to generate over $1 million in sales. MBF is launching a new product in July 2019 called LittleFoot that provides a scalable and cost effective way to distribute Public Wi-Fi and IoT services while leveraging 4G and 5G networks for backhaul around the World.

We are looking to raise $2 million from investors who fit with our global expansion and software development plans. AngelPad, Liquid 2 Ventures (Joe Montana’s fund) and a number of other prominent angels have already invested over $400k. Now MBF has an aggressive model to expand globally starting with the US and Latin America.

Team

  • Founder and CEO

    Kevin is in charge of setting the company's overall direction and developing strategic partnerships with telecom carriers, hardware and software vendors, public venue entities and related enterprises. Kevin has 16 years of experience in senior management roles in the wireless industry, with Hewlett Packard (HP), WFI, EMC and Tahoma Networks. Kevin received a double BA in Finance and Computer Applications from the University of Notre Dame.

  • Harshan is responsible for building and maintaining Mobile BigFoot’s wireless infrastructure technologies and systems. Harshan has 24 years of experience in the cellular and wireless industries, in management and engineering roles at HP, WFI, and LCC. Harshan has worked closely with global carriers in developing large scale domestic and international wireless networks. Harshan received an MBA from UCLA and a BSEE from Rensselaer University.

  • General Manager, Mobile Bigfoot Chile

    Gabriel is responsible for managing sales and operations for Mobile Bigfoot Chile. Gabriel has over 15 years of technology consulting and web design experience. Previously, Gabriel was the General Manager of Dsgnr Studio and the Webmaster of Latin America's leading finance portal Patagon and several other financial companies based in Chile. Gabriel received an architect degree from the University of Chile.

  • Director of Operations

    Fernando is responsible for the implementation of wireless network solutions for all client projects. Fernando coordinates the activities of vendors, sponsors and promoters, with the goal of delivering the highest quality wireless networks. Fernando holds a Business Administration and Marketing degree from UADE, an MBA from Quinlan School of Business (LUC) and a Masters in finance from Mendoza College of Business (Notre Dame).
