MayDate connects single people to highly compatible prospective partners by utilising their social network. Singles start a 30-day "MayDate campaign" at MayDate.com and invite a limited number of trusted friends to recommend some dates. The Single person also pledges to make a donation to charity for every date that is proposed. They can then accept or reject suggested dates. It is quick, discreet and easy, with no online profiles or photos.

    Dan is founder, CEO and sole owner of MayDate. Previously he co-founded RedRoomDVD which operated a network of automated DVD rental machines across Australia. RedRoomDVD was acquired by the Video Ezy / Blockbuster Group in Dec-2011. Immediately prior to RedRoomDVD he was employed as a Business Analyst at Macquarie Bank after completing a B.Com(Hons) / LLb(Hons). Dan is an active member of the Entrepreneurs Organisation.
