  • CEO/ Co-Founder

    Brom was a former vice president of e-Business platform at Oracle Corporation. He started his career at Hewlett Packard Laboratories, where he was part of the small team that built the foundation of network management at HP Labs.
    He was responsible for the architecture of the computing infrastructure for Oracle’s On-Demand hosting services.

    Brom holds a PhD in EE & Computer Science from University of California.

    Former president and CEO of Macy’s California and Partner at U.S. Venture Partners (USVP), Philip S. Schlein, has joined Mavatar as the Chairman of the Board of Directors in 2013. He served on the Board of Directors of Ross Stores, Callaway Golf and Apple Computer and had number of investments in the consumer/retail sector including PetSmart, Fresh Choice & The House of Blues, Specialty's Bakery & Cafe, Tea Collection & other companies.
