With all facilities and operations based in New Zealand, the company is currently finishing R&D on its Prototype #12 ("P12") aircraft, which will be its first production-ready, commercially-viable aircraft. Its planned release is mid-2014 with sales to military, government agency, and first-responder markets. The Martin Jetpack is easy to fly, has superb performance characteristics, and will be a very-low cost alternative to light helicopters.
