Originally launched in 2012 by Maria Lamanna, the eponymous brand creates objects that draw inspiration from personal experiences of everyday life.
January 2019 marks the re-launch of Maria Lamanna in a sustainable key: from the use of ecological synthetic leather to the tags, to the dust bags, from reinforcements, to zippers, each piece that composes a Maria Lamanna bag, and its packaging, is subjected to ethical choices of sustainability.

    Designer, wife and mother.
    Maria was born and raised in Italy and travelled the world before arriving in Florence.
    Adapting to this city’s rhythm, the designer realized even more the importance of this land and its traditions.
    Shortly, Maria decided that her contribution can have an impact on this society and, with her husband and partner Andrea, they turned a leather handbags brand into a sustainable business.

  • Chief Executive Officer

    Andrea is a professional rugby player, he played for the highest Italian representative in Guinness Pro12 and Heineken Cup. In 2013 Andrea was named captain of the second Italian national team representation, thanks to his leadership, commitment and work ethic skills. These skills are now applied to the entrepreneurial position he conducts at Maria Lamanna and are fundamentals to his role in the business.
