Paul has over 12 years experience as a private banker and financial planner working at Credit Suisse, Perpetual and financial planning firms in Australia and Singapore. Paul has lived and worked in Kenya, Malaysia, Singapore, United Kingdom and Australia.

Bernie was the Federal Member of Parliament for the seat of Oxley for from 1998 to 2016, where he was the Parliamentary Secretary to the Treasurer. While in opposition Bernie was the Shadow Minister for Financial Services and also chaired the financial services enquiry that lead to the development of the FoFA legislation (the Ripoll report).
