Kriisa Research, Inc.
A totally new clean energy semiconductor technology able to generate electrical current from ambient thermal energy. Potentially up to 10W per chip.
Kriisa Research is developing technology that spontaneously converts ambient heat into useable electrical power in a way unrelated to current known technologies. The devices require no fuel, recharging, light, motion, work anywhere. The initial market, energy harvesting, is estimated at $4.2B by 2019. Patents were awarded in multiple geographies during 2010 and 2011 and the US patent (8,053,947) was issued in Fall 2011 and 8,581,469 in 2013.
