I do the fine woodworking and have a degree in electronic graphic arts, Multi-media design, 3-d animation and modeling,and 100 credit hours worth of Architectural Drafting and Fine Arts classes as well. I am an Artist by nature and happened to chose Wood and Metal for my medium. I have been building furniture and components for builders for the last 14 years and acquire jobs at this time solely by word of mouth.

Charles Cooper is a seventh generation Blacksmith through his mother’s family. After high school Charles was working at Dallas Heritage Village at Old City Park learning from the resident master blacksmith, Kelly Kring for 6 years. He also has traveled to the North East to take several specialty courses from Bill Epps, Uri Hoffe, Fred Chris, and others as well as attending SVA in Manhattan.
