Mall Media, Inc.’s self-service, automated coupon kiosk systems will be located inside the main entrances to major malls, the choke points of their traffic. They will continuously deliver fresh, rotating coupons, special offers and video ad messages to the shoppers in the mall only from the merchants in that mall. This is at a point in time when the shopper is less than a few hundred feet from the front door of the retailer whose coupon they are holding and are, defined by their very presence in the mall, almost certainly in a spending frame of mind. We offer a unique in-mall ad message distribution system that magnifies the power of their advertising dollars and increases their sales...and for the mall, increased store sales means increased override revenue and ROI. The mall shoppers are exposed to more bargains.

We are a media company with a system that accepts advertising from retailers and delivers it to mall traffic passing by less than 5 feet away. We have designed 4 streams of revenue into our system. Our coupons are delivered in-hand to passing mall shoppers; our video impressions are counted as the shopper passes through a cone of detection while an advertiser's video spot is playing; we collect a transaction fee from the ATM operator occupying our end cap; and, we provide gift card services at the other end cap. We are a cash business with no receivables. Our margins are above 85%. Although we enjoy the benefits of brisk retail traffic, we neither employ nor have to manage any retail staff. Our market is huge and our competitive edge is sizable. No one has what we have. We have applied for a patent.

We have created a multi-variable spreadsheet model that gives us deep insight as to how to maximize results. We are highly scale-able, being able to produce units and get them into service in 6-7 weeks. Each unit costs $12,500 to produce and each will produce average revenue of $6,500 in the first year of operations and $13,000+ each in year 2 and beyond. Our units are off-the shelf components and easily replaced, so our units have a long useful life.

The unit is strategically located in high traffic choke points in mall entrances with a large video display that attracts consumers and distributes coupons from retailers inside the mall. In addition, due to the modular design of the unit, an ATM closet can be attached to add an additional service to consumers as they enter the mall and provide additional traffic for coupons. Currently being designed is a module, soon to be added to the Coupon-A-Tron unit that houses a gift card exchange service.

In summary, Mall Media, Inc. offers mall retailers a fresh technique with which to deliver their ad messages to their best prospects. It also offers investors an opportunity to invest in a start-up company that will exploit this valuable void and return attractive profits to shareholders.

    Mr. Haese holds a BA in Economics from the University of Wisconsin and is an experienced manager and entrepreneur. He has worked for the last 20 years as an independent marketing and strategy consultant specializing in spreadsheet decision modeling. He is also a skilled copywriter, ad designer and marketing campaign strategist. Mr. Haese has devoted 95% of his time in the last 26 months to developing the business concept and model herein.
