The app allows two-way syncing with the restaurant POS, making it "unobtrusive" (like JS on a web page). In other words, a customer could use Maki to browse the menu to see popular dishes, specials, and past orders, then order through the waiter, then track the order on Maki and pay using Maki when they're done.

We've also created an intuitive bill splitting functionality that makes it convenient for diners to split the bill with their friends.
