Luminoma is developing the LumAssure, a portable, point-and-click device that indicates whether a skin lesion is cancerous or benign within seconds. The diagnostic-aid provides clinicians with assurance in their biopsy decision without having to wait days for a lab result.

The LumAssure's high accuracy promises to reduce missed cancers whilst reducing unnecessary biopsies by three-quarters, saving costs, time and unnecessary scarring.
