Lumenos has developed proprietary technology to determine the precise current available solar radiation as well as predicting future radiation, moment by moment. We’re going after two markets initially: 1) ). We can help manage this variability of solar production caused by weather fluctuations by predicting precise, location specific, available insolation. and 2) building systems – helping manage lighting, shading, and HVAC.

    Chris is a recognized daylight analysis expert and a designer, software specialist, LC certified by the NCQLP. He holds an advanced architecture degree from UC Berkeley and is an expert in daylight modeling through computational models. He has lectured on the use of daylight in buildings and taught courses on the use of Radiance. Chris has competed twice in the Singlehanded Transpac sailing race from SF to Kauai in his 24’ sailboat Carroll E.
