Company Summary

The Los Alamos Beer Cooperative (LABC) was incorporated in September 2012 under the cooperative statutes of NM. LABC's vision and purpose is to open the first ever craft brewery and taproom in Los Alamos, which will serve as a place for the community to gather and a destination brewery in this part of the state. We plan to sell craft beer, root beer and NM wine.

    Micheline has lived in Los Alamos for over 30 years and has wondered why there is no gathering place in town. In January 2012, she pulled together a set of individuals from all walks of life in Los Alamos, and they set the vision of a brewery/taproom on a cooperative business model. She has a 30-year career at Los Alamos National Lab in management and leadership and have volunteered on the UNM LA Advisory board and Leadership Los Alamos Board.

    Cindy is an engineer and project manager who has developed and implemented large scale redevelopment plans. She has managed engineering, architects, planners and leased space for Los Alamos National Laboratory. She is a DOD certified acquisition professional, student of nuclear and reliability engineering and a practitioner of Six Sigma process improvement. She developed the business plan, financial projections, insurance and leases for space.
