Company Summary

Loop Transport offers college students to option to get anywhere on campus for a flat, $2 fee per seat per vehicle. Using a modified version of Asia's auto-rickshaws, our service runs on both solar and electric energy. Students book an on-demand ride through our app to their destination within a 3 mile radius of campus. The drivers will be students who will pay an $8/hr fee to rent out a vehicle, and earn through the fares they complete.

    Varun Jain is a Morehead-Cain and United World College Davis Scholar at UNC Chapel Hill and intends on majoring in Computer Science and Statistics. His knowledge of both the developing and developed world led him to found Circle, a circular economy design consultancy that focused on advising institutions, organisations and governments on making the waste of today the resources of tomorrow, where he was in charge of client relations and employees.
