Despite the globalization of the Internet the web is not truly world wide due to language barriers. There are over 1B people learning a foreign language worldwide. However, this massive amount of energy is not efficiently captured because language learning has just been a personal experience. The Looah has been designed to capture this energy by providing a collaborative space for language learners to organize their studies with other people.
