    In 2001, 200 pound Christian Bates decided to bike hard and lay off his favorite Bay Area sourdough baguettes. He lost 50 pounds in 6 months. Convinced of how powerful his habits are, he delved deep into the nutrition and wellness industry to know it inside out. Christian partnered with Ancient Sun Nutrition in 2005 and formulated the WildBar, a superfood meal replacement bar that sold $470,000.00 worth of bars in its second full year in business
