Alex led product innovation efforts at several iconic Silicon Valley companies including Becton Dickinson, Convergent Technologies, Hewlett Packard and Next Computer, before setting out as an entrepreneur. His product development consulting company, PacifiX, had a portfolio of more than 20 consumer, industrial, and medical products central to over $1B in acquisitions. Clients included, Clorox, Cisco Systems, Cytek, Boston Scientific and Abbot.

He received his doctorate in Veterinary Medicine at National Taiwan University and his PhD in Molecular Biology and Masters in Microbiology at Auburn University. His extended studies and research also encompassed chemistry, physiology, biomaterials and endocrinology. Previous to LiveLeaf he was the founder of Intravantage, a company that developed a radical new system for drug delivery.

She has helped take Adaptec, Inc., Auspex Systems, and Alteon WebSystems from startups to IPO. She has board experience in public and private companies and has been a major contributor to mergers, acquisitions and sales of companies including managing and overseeing the due diligence processes from both the buyer and seller side of the business. Chloe brings experience in international as well as domestic finance strategy.
