After a career in hotel sales and marketing, Kerry founded North Star Express, a freight forwarding company which he grew from $0 at its inception in 1994 to nearly $7M over 8 years. He then founded Greenway/Legacy Logistics, a freight forwarder/sales organization. In 2010, he founded Surge Business Development, an incubator that works specifically with Penn State interns, IP, and and start-ups. Live It! was developed and tested at Surge.

Barry Davis is a Naval Academy graduate who attended the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. Barry has worked with RapidAdvance and First Annapolis Consulting and currently is a managing partner with A.B. Davis Partners LLC and is a senior associate with The Strawhecker Group. He has provided Live It! with great financial solutions to make the service fully capable of providing choice within boundaries.

Scott Woods is the founder of West Arete, a software and programming company started in 2005. He has a B.S. from Penn State in computer programming. He has a passion for helping small businesses meet their technology and programming needs in order to succeed.

Meg is the Director of the Prevention Innovation Lab and a faculty member in the College of Health and Human Development at Penn State. She has a PhD in Community and Public Health from the University of Maryland and is a Penn State alum. She is passionate about translating her social science research into engaging products and services, which is an important characteristic of Live It!

Joe Witte specializes in strategic planning and execution and has particular expertise in the internet/technology sector and enjoys helping the entrepreneur community. He is advising Live It! in relation to the internet sector, which is crucial for an e-commerce company.

Emily is a senior at Penn State who has worked on Live It! since its inception. She has helped with the concept development, product marketing, and creative visuals for the platform at various stages. Emily is engaged in life at Penn State, including recently being a dancer in Penn State's THON, and therefore has a unique perspective on the target market’s needs and motivations.

Brittany works with her clients to design interfaces that are intuitive and efficient, capture workflows that are goal driven, and craft user interactions that meet those goals. Brittany calls on her background in Anthropology and her innate understanding of human behavior to give our projects a distinctly human feel.
