Graduated from M.I.T., majoring in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, and was elected Co-President of his alumni class. As an undergraduate, he conducted research at M.I.T.’s Media Lab and the CS and AI Lab (CSAIL). He successfully competed in mechanical engineering competitions, including a 2nd place team finish at the International Design Contest in Tokyo. Most recently, Matthew was an Associate at The Boston Consulting Group (BCG).

Took a leave of absence from the MBA program at Harvard Business School to continue work on LivBlends full time. She previously worked as a Private Equity Associate at The Carlyle Group, evaluating investment opportunities as part of the $13.7 billion U.S. leveraged buyout fund. When she is not making smoothies, Elise enjoys meditating and adventure travel (e.g. North Korea, Kilimanjaro, Patagonia).
