Flipboard for VR/AR
We have built an app for VR devices which lets people consume news articles, videos and 360 videos across various news sources.
VR is a different medium from mobile. We want to take advantage of the immersion and space provided by VR to create a better news app.
Currently VR is mostly being used to kill zombies. We believe VR can be used for better purpose. Our goal is to create a VR news app, something like Flipboard.

    Nishant has been working on VR projects for the past 2 years, with one of them being a 360 degree video editor for journalists to make their stories more interactive, which was done in collaboration with The Washington Post. After working on this project, Nishant saw the opportunity that VR has to share news stories to viewers and have the viewers be fully immersed in the story they are viewing.
